DJ SS

 


DJ SS, also known as Leroy Small, is a prominent figure in the drum and bass scene of Indian descent. He has been active in the music industry since the early 1990s and is considered one of the pioneers of the genre. He began his career in music as a member of the group Total Science, but later branched out as a solo artist and producer.

One of DJ SS's most significant contributions to the drum and bass scene is the creation of Formation Records, a record label that has released many influential tracks over the years. Some of his most famous tracks include 'Black', 'Rollidge' and 'The Lighter'. His music has also been featured on popular compilations such as Jungle Mania and V Classic.

DJ SS has performed at numerous events and festivals around the world, including the World Dance Festival, One Nation and Dreamscape. He has also collaborated with other notable drum and bass artists such as Kenny Ken, Ray Keith and Grooverider. His influence on the drum and bass scene has been recognised through numerous awards and nominations, including Best Producer and Best DJ at the Drum and Bass Awards.
